Tie Dye Is Back, And Here's How To Style It
Well, to the haters of tie dye, sorry, but it's back.
2021 came, and we left A LOT of 2020 trends back in 2020... but we tagged along tie dye to join us. It's a trend that a lot of teenagers love, and a lot hate. If you LOVE tie dye, this post is for you. If you don't love tie dye, I still encourage you to read this post.. you never know, you might leave here LOVING it.
I've rounded up a few of the best tie dye looks from 2020, plus some new & trendy ways stylists are wearing them this year.
Before we get started, here's an easy, detailed YouTube video on how to make a tie dye clothing. (If you don't want to buy it)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sweatsuit Style
The sweatsuit came along as a stay at home comfort trend, but in full on tie dye, it can look totally going-out ready. And, I mean, why not wear two tie dye pieces instead of one?
Blazer & Shorts
A Summer combo that keeps coming back: blazer and denim shorts. It's a trendy duo, and wearing a tie dye blazer with crop top underneath is breezy & bright, yet stylish.
Retro & Simple
If you're not a full on tie dye kinda girl, simply ease your way into this trend by wearing denim overalls with some espadrilles, and of course your tie dye shirt layered underneath.
Tie Dye Dress
No easier way to wear a print then in dress form- don't have to worry about whether it matches or anything... and this one is especially beautiful!
VSCO Girl
If you're VSCO girl, or are interested in the style of VSCO, try styling tie dye by matching crocs with a hydro flask, & tie dye t-shirt dress.
Overall Dress
Denim is a summer style staple, so if you own an overall dress, take off one strap, throw a tie dye top underneath.. = effortless.
